Briefing

The Humboldthain Flaktower has sustained severe structural damage from an allied covert strike. While their efforts to destroy all of the flak cannons were unsuccessful, they may attack yet again to destroy the two that remain. The axis must hold them off until reinforcements arrive from the lower levels.

LMS Briefing

The massive Humboldthain complex in Berlin served two key functions. Firstly, the massive structure served as antiaircraft artillery defense with 4 pairs 128mm flak cannons. Secondly, it's stout design was capable of housing 40000 people as a shelter should the need arise. Kill or be killed.

The Allied assault team has been neutralized and the tower is secure once again. Even though they had the advantage of two surprise attacks the Allies were no match for the experience and nobility of the Axis soldier. This undoubtedly sends a powerful message to Allied Supreme Command about their enemies resilience and about the battles to come.

Having succesfully neutralized the remaining Flak cannons, Allied bombers are already on their way to completely obliterate the building, burying alive any and all in the underground complex. Mission Success! Axis High Command must think long and hard about their loss this day.

Scenario

The Allies are attacking the two remaining flak cannons at the top of the tower. The Axis must delay the Allies and protect the flak cannons at all costs.

Allies: Fight through the Flaktower to destroy the two remaining flak cannons before the lower levels can organise reinforcements.

Axis: Protect the flak cannons from the Allied team, secure the escape hatch and do not let them breach the security sidewall.

Allied Objectives

1. Primary Objective: Destroy the 3rd Flak cannon before they have a chance to alert the underground barracks.
2. Primary Objective: Destroy the 4th Flak cannon before they have a chance to alert the underground barracks.
3. Primary Objective: Destroy this wall the covert team was able to sabotage and gain access to the security control switch.
4. Primary Objective: Capture the Forward Bunker.
5. Secondary Objective: Use this switch to open the Security doors.
6. Secondary Objective: Capture the Weapons Storage Facility.
7. Secondary Objective: Build a Command Post.
8. Secondary Objective: Keep the axis from sealing the escape hatch.

Axis Objectives

1. Primary Objective: Defend the Flak Cannons long enough to alert underground personnel.
2. Primary Objective: Defend the Flak Cannons long enough to alert underground personnel.
3. Primary Objective: Defend this wall. Preventing the allied team from destroying this wall will deny them axis to the rest of the tower.
4. Primary Objective: Defend the Forward Bunker.
5. Secondary Objective: Keep the Security Doors closed by preventing the allied forces from using this switch.
6. Secondary Objective: Defend the Weapons Storage Facility.
7. Secondary Objective: Build a Command Post.
8. Secondary Objective: Keep the allies from breaching the escape hatch.
