The 11th flotilla operating out of Bergen is creating havoc among the allied shipping convoys in the North Sea. As part of Operation Arrow you must cause as much devastation as possible.

The tenacity and bravery shown by the Axis forces in the successful defence of the Bergen has won the day and bought them yet more time to strengthen the Reich's defences. Superior Axis courage and tactical expertise have inflicted a humiliating defeat on the Allied attackers whose meagre tactical talents and faltering courage failed to impress. Allied Supreme Command is mightily displeased with this shoddy display. Lacking either guts or skill, the Allies' poor showing means that any invasion plans have had to be shelved until another way can be found to protect the convoys.

This convincing Allied victory has saved their shipping from the 11th flotilla and has brought the build-up towards an invasion of Axis-occupied Europe ever closer. The skill they have shown in assaulting tactical positions will prove of vital importance in the rest of the war. The Axis High Command are dismayed: the Axis forces have shown themselves lacking in fighting spirit and incapable of defending vital objectives, even when massively fortified. The Axis must do better: if they can't control Norway, they can hardly hope to hold on to Western Europe.

Scenario

Operation Archery. The commando raid in the Bergen area of Norway

Allies: As part of Operation Archery your squad must destroy the Transmitter at the submarine base located west of the town.

Axis: The Allies have attacked the local town. Stay alert and defend the Transmitter at all costs until reinforcements arrive.

Allied Objectives

1. Primary Objective: Destroy the Transmitter.
2. Secondary Objective: Repair the Generator.
3. Secondary Objective: Set up a Command Post in the submarine pen to secure the forward bunker.
4. Secondary Objective: Capture the Forward Bunker.
5. Secondary Objective: Destroy the Side Entrance.

Axis Objectives

1. Primary Objective: Stop the Allies from destroying the Transmitter.
2. Secondary Objective: Prevent the Allies from repairing the Generator.
3. Secondary Objective: Set up a Command Post inside the submarine pen.
4. Secondary Objective: Prevent the Allies from gaining a foothold in the Forward Bunker.
5. Secondary Objective: Prevent the Allies from destroying the Side Entrance.
